The "Example Metadata Query Response" in section 3.2.3 wouldn't actually be valid because of the lack of namespaces.

In practice, I'd also expect something to indicate the encoding used for the response, either an <?xml ... ?> thing within the response body or (perhaps and) a charset attribute on the Content-Type header in the response.  Of course it's "just an example" but what's there should be real, I think.

In section 4.1, you say 302 where I think you mean 304.

In section 5.3, second sentence, you say "Responses" but I think you might mean "Responders".
